LBP locksmiths were called to Brighton to replace a front door’s faulty Ingersoll SC1 barrel lock’s cylinder. Ingersoll locks are well known for their high security locks and resistance to drilling. But due to a national supplier issue, these barrels are currently difficult to get your hands on.
To fix the problem, we installed a specialist Souber conversion kit and installed a Yale rim cylinder, a cheaper but high-quality alternative. It is easy to replace and is perfect for doors with surface-mounted locks. We also cut and tested five additional keys on-site.
